On the act of deciding...

One of the most hateful things in life is to decide. This born giving right is, in fact, one of our most demanding difficulties. The first decisions in life are probably basic and without too severe consequences. The same is not true as time marks its passage. Decisions get each time more difficult, since they can influence our life drastically.
There are individuals who can see only benefits in their decisions, and others who mind more with the prejudice. The truth is, for a decision where the choices available only bring advantages, also have their counterpart, meaning that one will always loose something.
Decisions where the pros and cons are evaluated and one choice becomes superior to the others are easy. The problem is when the pros and cons of every choice cancel themselves, situation where I have stepped on.
For those who think in deciding the most secure and least risk choice, there is a latin quote from Virgil, "audaces fortunas juvat", which means the luck protects the bold ones. This sentence is quite true and just expresses that, to advance risk must be taken as ally and not as foe.
Decisions are the mark of freedom in human beings, but freedom is not necessarily good and enjoyable, feeling which is amplified with the act of deciding.
